Polling guidelines for member activation

Guidelines on Polls for aspiring BKT members

These are the guidelines for running a poll:

* Before inviting somebody in, please make a poll for them first.
* The poll would run for only a week. That's seven days for you to vote if someone is to be accepted in the boards (starts on Sundays - ends on Saturdays). If you can't vote within the alloted time, your vote would be rendered null and void.
* In case someone has stumbled upon the boards without invitation or a poll concluded for the aformentioned person, it is required that s/he post in the Guest Corner and introduce himself/herself first. No post, no poll. 'Nuff said.
* A member would be activated by a simple majority vote.
* After a poll is concluded, it will be deleted to protect the interest and privacy of everyone who posted.
* The new member/s will be informed of his/her acceptance three days after the end of the poll. This is to ensure that the current members are given ample time to be informed about the poll/s' results.
